How do I deal with a friend who wants to steal my IB English essay topic?

He’s not really your friend, then is he?
Well, you could tell your professor or whoever will be marking this paper that YOU were the one to choose this topic and that he was inspired by your choice to do his essay on the same.
Tell your marker also that he assured you that he would approach the topic differently. This tells you that whoever’s marking it will be the one who decides if he’s copied you or not.
You’re not at fault here so don’t aggrevate the situation further by confronting him. You’re doing your own work.
That’s just my opinion. You’re welcome to tell him that you’ve told the professor/marker of the essays. That will make him seriously think about the plagiarism. (did i spell that right? i never know…plagarism? plagiarism? i have no idea)

For the ib programme that come from it ideas about culture about change his topic it doesnt sound very friendly but also get teachers advice for your paper know from it ideas about individuality and whatever you do dont share any quotes information or sources with your paper know metamorphosis is that knows you know hes.
