I know exactly what you mean!!! And, I sympathize, because there’s no real answer to correcting the situation or showing the person the error of their ways. These people just seem to have a need to have the answer or a unique anecdote about EVERYTHING.
These people are usually really just full of their own opinions, or so insecure that they want you to think they’ve got it together. You can always tell which, because if they’re full of themselves and you challenge them, they become contemptuous of you. If they’re insecure, they take a challenge very personally and get emotional.
